Event Description:
Monday Night Fiction Series will discuss "Digging to America," by Anne Tyler. Sally Hannay, assistant professor of English at Schreiner, will lead the discussion. "Digging to America" is Pulitzer-Prize winning novelist Anne Tyler's 17th novel, published in 2006. The story examines the lives and different parenting styles of two families-one American and the other Iranian-American-who adopt six-month-old Korean orphan girls. Discussion is free and the public is welcome.
