“The mission of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce is to promote a positive growing business community.”

Priorities for 2007

Governmental Affairs – Continue as the liaison between the business sector of the community and the governmental entities to assure a continued positive business atmosphere for Fredericksburg and Gillespie County.

Educate Local Businesses – Provide educational opportunities to make local businesses successful. Ensure excellent customer service to help promote Fredericksburg as not only a great place to shop, but as a visitor friendly community as well.

Fun after 5/Seminars - Committed to creating an environment that allows members and local businesses to network and meet with their peers while also providing an opportunity to hear speakers on business/employment related topics.

Chamber Foundation – The creation of a Chamber Foundation allows us the opportunity to impact any number of areas in the community. One of its ultimate goals is to build and fund a “business center” that can be utilized as education space & workforce development as well as meeting space for local business and the center for economic development. A development campaign is in progress.

Leadership – The Chamber is very committed to Leadership Gillespie County which has been a very successful and popular program.
