The Fredericksburg Jaycees were founded in 1940 by a group of local business men who wanted to raise money to support local organizations.  Since their founding, the Jaycees have grown to promote large fund raisers with all of the proceeds being used to help youth organizations, charitable groups and those in need within our community in Texas.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. The main objective of Rotary is service - in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self. The Rotary Club of Fredericksburg Morning meets weekly for fellowship, breakfast, and an informative and interesting presentation from a guest speaker. Meeting Time: Thursday at 6:45am at Buffalo Nickle located at 105 S. Llano.

The Fredericksburg Tennis Association’s (FTA), a nonprofit 501 C 3 Corporation, supports and promotes social and competitive youth and adult tennis play through organized play and tournaments, provides financial assistance to needy youth involved in tennis activities and generally promotes increasing interest in tennis as an ideal sport for our community. Additionally, eligible graduating high school seniors are the recipients of annual FTA college scholarships. FTA is a United States Tennis Association (USTA) certified Community Tennis Association. While our members enjoy our many tennis activities we work closely with community, USTA Texas, local government and local schools in promoting the growth of tennis, fitness and facilities. Our tennis activities are generally held at the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park courts.

The Gillespie Literacy Council , a non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping adults learn to understand, speak, read and write the English language.  The volunteer tutors offer one to one classes in Basic LIteracy, English as a Second Language (ESL), US Citizesnhip, Driver's LIcense and GED preparation.  The free classes are offered once a week for 1 1/2 hour per class.

The Club provides scholarships for students, activities for participation including T-Ball, Punt, Pass and Kick, observe a Respect for the Law Day and much more. VFW Post 7105 is a nonprofit 501 (c) (19) organization comprised of Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States that supports military and veterans of all generations. The post also operates a canteen that is open to the public, and is open daily from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. The VFW Post was established April 25, 1946, and celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2021.
