Confectionery Production Personnel will work in our food manufacturing /Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment to carry out daily activities, included but not limited to the manufacturing of products, packaging of finished goods, sanitation and working with the team to carry out daily and weekly tasks. Employees will participate in the creation of artisan chocolates from raw materials to finished goods, working with their hands and operating chocolate production machinery. Employees will be able to learn how to operate in all critical areas of production (we cross-train).
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
No previous experience is necessary (as we are the only chocolatiers in the USA to do what we do). We will train you.
Food handling, processing and packaging of products following standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP). Strong attention to detail, dedicated to a high caliber of work performance.
Basic math skills: we work in both Imperial and Metric measurements.
Ability to learn quickly, works well with others and participates in a team, strong teamwork support and communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time (an hour or two at a time).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
