Job Description

As a Purchasing Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Team with completing tasks and projects, such as creating and submitting purchase orders, sourcing products and materials, and following up with vendors and carriers to track orders and deliveries.

Work with the Purchasing team to ensure tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner
Routinely check the status of purchase orders, ensure they are promptly updated in the system, communicate any potential issues with the Purchasing team, and reroute order fulfillment when necessary
Follow up on delivered purchase orders and ensure that a BOL/packing slip is received
Work with vendors and shipping companies to successfully resolve order and delivery issues
Communicate with Purchasing and Warehouse teams on the status of sales order fulfillment, purchase orders, and damages/order issues
Assist with sourcing projects, as needed
Assist the team with other duties and projects, as needed
