Our resort is looking for a highly motivated, service-oriented, individual with a passion for hospitality and property management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customer facing, day-to-day maintenance operations of the resort, overseeing your station, and ensuring that our guests have a positive experience, from their first impression which you will set. Firefly Resorts is hiring for the position of Resort Ranger in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Skills & experience you need:
-Some plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and groundskeeping tasks will be a part of your everyday tasks, knowledge and experience in any/all of these fields will be extremely helpful.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Basic reading, writing and math skills and the ability to use computer applications.
-Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
-Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.
-Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.
-Experience working in security and/or law enforcement, and/or working in an RV environment, is a benefit.
-Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
-Ability to working weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
-Ability to pass a background check. No Crimes of Moral Turpitude.
What you'll do:
The Resort Ranger position may include walking or patrol of the grounds of the Resort answering questions, assist in all kinds of maintenance tasks, and will be enforcing rules and ensuring the safety of our guests and their belongings. The ideal employee can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regards to local, state and federal law.
Your job will include:
-Set the tone for the Resort by being a positive, friendly, and upbeat FIRST IMPRESSION, with a dynamic personality.
-Perform Check-In and Check-Out Duties.
-Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems.
-Ensure that the property is properly secured.
-Ensure that guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern and contact law enforcement if necessary.
-Monitor all incoming guests through the resort gate and validate if access is acceptable.
-Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
-Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
-Performs on-call emergency service as required.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
