Job Description
The canteen manager is responsible for overall operation of the Post canteen/bar to include bartending; scheduling staff work hours; ordering inventory of beer,wine and other various supplies; hiring staff (with approval of the Post’s HouseCommittee); overall maintenance of the Post building and grounds; recommendingchanges to inventory and pricing and canteen operations. Ensure Post canteen
complies with TABC laws, rules and regulations. Works with Post Quartermaster to manage canteen funds.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS (required skills)
Experienced bartender (2-3 years}
Licensed in Texas
Good customer interaction and communication skills
Able to handle many types of customers in many different age groups
Able to increase customer base
Able to work alone
JOB QUALIFICATION (preferred skills)
3-5 years experience as bar/club/restaurant manager
Experienced inventory manager
Personnel management experience
