The Texas Tech Regional Teaching Site in Fredericksburg is located at the Hill Country University Center and provides an opportunity for students to overcome the three biggest barriers to the pursuit of higher education: availability, proximity to home, and cost. Students can pursue post-secondary degrees while realizing considerable savings by living and working locally. Students can complete bachelor’s degrees in a variety of disciplines for about 1/3 of the cost of going away to college.

Texas Tech at Fredericksburg offers bachelor’s, master’s and graduate certification programs.

With 20 areas of study, students can design an interdisciplinary degree that meets their career goals. The Department of Plant and Soil Science at Texas Tech in Fredericksburg offers academic and certificate programs that equip students to pursue a career in the Texas wine industry. Visit grapesandwine.ttu.edu. The TechTeach Across Texas program is an elementary teacher education program for students wishing to teach EC – 6th grade in the Fredericksburg ISD.
