The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with The Office of the Governor in announcing The Governor's Small Business Summit — Fredericksburg, which aims to help women-owned small businesses and aspiring female entrepreneurs reach new heights in their business journey. This event offers a variety of sessions bringing together local, state and federal resource partners to provide key insights on critical business topics and connect women business owners with the resources and information needed to start, strengthen and grow their business. It's also an opportunity to network with other women business owners and meet experts who will share timely, relevant and actionable advice on a multitude of small business subjects. 

 

The Governor's Small Business Summit will feature First Lady of Texas Cecilia Abbott as the keynote presenter!

 

Two woman-owned businesses will have the opportunity to win the Small Business Pitch Competition, along with a $10,000 prize! The Beacon State Fund,* in partnership with the Governor's Commission for Women, is hosting a pitch competition and will select two awardees in 2023. The women-owned small business pitch competition is made possible by Sempra’s support of the Beacon State Fund.
