Candidate Forum

The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum for all candidates in the upcoming City of Fredericksburg General Election, in which voters will select our mayor and two city council members.

The Candidate Forum will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 6 p.m. in the H-E-B Room of Hill Country University Center, located at 2818 E. Highway 290. A moderator will pose a broad set of questions, allowing each candidate to express their views and goals.

The event will also be livestreamed, thanks to a partnership with FBG.live with a link that will be available on the Chamber's website and social media for on-demand viewing.

Candidates for Mayor include incumbent, Charlie Kiehne and challengers Timothy Ellis Riley and Jeryl Hoover. The four candidates vying for two council seats include incumbent Tom Musselman, along with Tony Klein, Emily Kircher and James McDonald.

Early voting will take place from April 25-May 3 and the election will be held on Saturday, May 7.

The Chamber thanks Hill Country University Center and FBG.live for their support of the event.
