LIGHT THE NIGHT CHRISTMAS PARADE ADDS RESTROOM LOCATIONS

As the popularity of the Light The Night Christmas Parade, proudly presented by H-E-B, grows, so does the need for public facilities.

“In addition to Fredericksburg’s public restrooms, we have added more portable restrooms, with the goal of providing improved access along the entire route, which stretches along Main Street between the intersections of Washington and Bowie Streets,” said Parade Coordinator Penny C. McBride.

Parade attendees will find public restrooms at the Visitor Information Center, located at the corner of Austin and Lincoln Streets; and at three locations on Marktplatz, located on the 100th block of West Main.

Portable restrooms will be placed at three Main Street locations including the south side of the 300th block of East Main Street, near the corner of Main Street and South Llano Street and on the corner of Main Street and South Milam Street. Attendees will also find portable restrooms adjacent to the reserved bleacher seating, located in front of Pioneer Memorial Library, and in the parade staging area behind the Gillespie County Courthouse and along San Antonio Street.

“We thank the businesses and property owners who have partnered with the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce to provide locations for this additional parade watching amenity,” said McBride.

The Light The Night Christmas Parade will roll on Friday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m.
